PROCEDURE FOR ADDING A COMMUNICATIONS BOARD TO

ECS TEMPERATURE CONTROLLER

Parts Needed:

a. Control Box Assembly ECS, P/N: 69012-[ ]

b. Temperature Indicating Controller, P/N: 64008

c. Communications Board, P/N: 64009-[ ]

Procedure:

1. Turn off power to Control Box Assembly ECS (P/N 69012-[ ])

2. Slide out Temperature Indicating Controller (P/N: 64008) from Control Box Assembly

by gently pushing the indicated latching ears to the side (See Figure 1)

3. Slide Communications Board (P/N 64009-[ ]) into Temperature Indicating Controller

slot (COMMS 1). See Figure 2. Make sure to push Communications Board all the

way in to ensure it is firmly seated in its slot.

2 4. Place Temperature Indicating Controller back into Control Box Assembly and power up unit. The following screen will appear. (See Figure 3)

4NOTE AERCO recommends that shielded, twisted-pair cable be used for communication wiring. Examples of suitable wiring are : Belden 9841, 8761, 3105
